Our Story

A little trip down memory lane, way back to October 2010!

  • In the Beginning

    October, 2010

    Trouble maker Alex was made to sit next to Head Girl Bethan in year 10 Biology class. Alex took every opportunity to annoy and distract Bethan and that's really where it all began!

  • Chalet Hosting

    Winter 2013/14

    Three years into our relationship having finished school and college we decided to spend the winter in Alpe d'Huez running a ski chalet. We quickly learnt to never work together...

  • Nottingham

    September, 2014

    Bethan started studying Biochemistry and Molecular Medicine at the University of Nottingham while Alex did another ski season in Morzine. It's true, distance makes the heart fonder and we realised we didn't want to be apart. So, in 2015 Alex joined Bethan in Nottingham to study Computer Science.

  • Graduating!

    June, 2018

    After three/four amazing years we graduated university having been president of the rugby and skiing societies, making lots of incredible memories and many life-long friends along the way

  • Japan and SE Asia

    Winter 2018/19

    With Alex now itching to get back skiing we headed off to snowy Japan with Nick, Will and Ludo for six months. Not quite ready for a 'proper' job we spent the next 4 months traveling Asia and what an incredible time we had.

  • London

    February, 2021

    COVID-19 saw the end of traveling for a while so we both got full-time jobs and moved into our first flat in Wandsworth. Since then we've got engaged (finally!) and welcomed little Otto into our lives

Wedding Gifts

We are completely blown away by the incredible gifts we received from everyone. We had the most amazing honeymoon in Malaysia, we got to explore Kuala Lumpur and every go to the top of the famous twin towers. Then we went to Malacca to checkout the UNESCO heritage sites there and finally headed to Tioman island on the east coast for some relaxing on the beach and living in a forest!

We really can't thank you all enough and are incredibly grateful to everyone who made it happen!
